Dr. Stephen Minore

W. Stephen Minore, M.D., F.C.C.P., F.I.C.S., C.P.E.

Dr. Minore, President of Medical Pain Management Services, has specialized in pain management since 1993. He became a Board-certified anesthesiologist in 1988 and received a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pain Management in September 1993. He is also President of Rockford Anesthesiologists Associated, L.L.C., and is President and a member of the Credentials Committee at Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Minore is a member of the Anesthesia, Steering, Trauma QI, and Trauma/Burn Committees, and is currently Chairman of the Operating Room Committee at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. He is a member of the Anesthesia and Perioperative Committees at SwedishAmerican Hospital. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford and serves on the school’s Committee on Student Affairs, Promotions, Awards & Scholarships. He has also been an assistant professor and instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Minore is very active in the anesthesia and business community, having served in offices and as committee chair, including President of the Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists, and as Delegate and member of the Committee on Legislative Affairs for the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He is CEO of the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and is Vice President for Financial Affairs and Chair of the Economics & Membership Committee of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Minore has researched, published, and served as course director and moderator for several professional organizations extensively and presented world-wide on numerous pain management topics.
